Our challenge

We see ourselves as a small, sustainable family business and have grown significantly in recent years. Our customers include industry and commerce or public clients who have special requirements for their construction. Sales have risen sharply and the number of employees has multiplied within just a few years. We now have around 80 employees. Now we want to structure, optimize and consolidate ourselves. The HAHN BAU GROUP, which bundles central services for customers and employees under one roof, makes an important contribution to this. In this context, purchasing is also being restructured strategically, in terms of personnel and organization. We are looking for support for this.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for strategic and operational central purchasing and gradually build up the purchasing department.
• You are responsible for the selection, qualification and audit of suppliers/subcontractors: When selecting cooperation partners (subcontractors and subcontractors), the quality standards required for our AMS certification or in terms of customer satisfaction and HAHN quality are also taken into account before you
• In cooperation with suppliers, you create additional purchasing successes by bundling requirements
• Together with the division manager, you negotiate framework agreements with suppliers who are suitable for our equipment and vehicle fleet and for equipping our building materials and spare parts warehouse.
• As part of our ISO certifications, you also pay attention to sustainability standards when purchasing
• You are helping to drive forward the strategic orientation of the supplier portfolio
• You consolidate purchasing data, derive strategic indicators and prepare evaluations and reports
• You will actively support the further development and development of the purchasing division in close coordination with the division manager

The team

The position is assigned to Stefan Jörg's team. He heads the new Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse & Logistics division and reports directly to management. This area also includes controlling, accounting and tasks relating to our construction site supply and preparation. Together with our work preparation, calculation and controlling, i.e. Edgar (shell construction/turnkey construction), Swen (expansion) and Stefan (expansion calculation support), you actively help to create the foundations for the construction sites. The accounting system is prepared by Jessica for our management. In the warehouse & logistics team, Timo and his team ensure smooth processes. Basti, Peter and Heiko complete the organization here to not only supply our construction sites with what we don't get delivered there directly, but also to keep our equipment in good shape at all times. Care and maintenance are important to us. Centralized purchasing has not existed so far.

Your qualifications

• A business or technical degree with a great affinity for business figures. Alternatively, commercial education and/or continuing education in the purchasing sector or a comparable qualification
• Profound knowledge in strategic and operational purchasing of construction services and building materials
• Experience in independently and responsibly carrying out negotiations with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers
• A high degree of self-organization as well as an independent, structured and binding way of working
• You have practical experience in purchasing construction services. For example, VOB/B, specifications, etc. are not foreign words to you, but help you to use your basic legal knowledge in such a way that they support your colleagues
• Sensibility to sustainability and certification requirements for a high-quality value chain
