AMS BAU
The concept of the industry-specific management system for safety and health at work by the professional association of the construction industry (BG BAU) — AMS BAU for short — serves to holistically integrate occupational safety and health in the company. In summer 2021, we successfully passed the AMS construction test (occupational health and safety with system), and we are currently undergoing recertification.

PQ VOB
We are PQ VOB certified. This means that we can apply for and accept public contracts. And: With us, you can rely on contracts being met. We attach great importance to ensuring that our construction managers are always well trained — and can also pass this knowledge on to employees.
ISO 9001 and 14001
As a family business in a national park region, we want sustainable development. For us and our region. We are therefore striving for ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. They stand for quality and sustainability. For us, they belong together. And that for all companies. That is why we will also take this step as BAU GRUPPE in the near future.
Health and Safety Coordinators (SiGeKo)
The Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV) obliges builders to appoint one, possibly several SiGEKo, for construction sites on which employees of several employers work, to plan the implementation and to carry out the construction project. With their work, even in the planning phase, they have to contribute to making the construction project, the construction process and subsequent work on the building complex safe at all times.

Thomas Huwa stayed with us directly after his time as a working student in civil engineering. He dedicated his thesis to the introduction of a green label at a medium-sized construction company; using Hahn as an example. Now he's implementing it. But that's not all: Because we are convinced that quality, sustainability and safety belong together, he is our central point of contact for sustainability and safety issues.
