Our challenge

We see ourselves as a small, sustainable family business and have grown significantly in recent years. Our customers include industry and commerce or public clients who have special requirements for their construction. Sales have risen sharply and the number of employees has multiplied within just a few years. We now have around 80 employees. Now we want to structure, optimize and consolidate ourselves. The HAHN BAU GROUP, which bundles central services for customers and employees under one roof, makes an important contribution to this. Your task & personality

We are looking for someone with a focus on (financial) accounting. You will help us with the following tasks:

  • Preparation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, also in connection with sustainability criteria and the annual proof of use for institutional funding providers in cooperation with our tax consultancy
  • Handling of tax matters of companies belonging to the HAHN BAU GROUP
  • Preparation of audit documents and cooperation with auditors, tax advisors and auditors from potential funding agencies
  • Ensuring that all transactions are recorded promptly and properly
  • Continuous account maintenance and adjustment as well as accounting control (ERP system)
  • Processing payment transactions (in Datev Unternehmen Online) and carrying out correspondence with banks
  • Maintaining the cash book in Datev Unternehmen Online (by proxy)
  • Liquidity planning support

In short: We're looking for a real nerd or number freak who always keeps track of things. In addition to your affinity for numbers, you may also be interested in construction-specific processes. This is because digital work does not end on a server, but has an impact on various accounts and operational developments. That is why you are supporting dunning, our guarantee management and liquidity planning with this work.

The team

With your work, you primarily support and relieve Sandy, our commercial director, i.e. our personalized overall accounting and interface with external parties, such as our tax consultancy and much more. Your first point of contact is Stefan, our new division manager for purchasing, finances, warehousing & logistics. Together with him, you help prepare budgets and improve planning, but primarily ensure smooth processes in finance and accounting. External accounting is handled by Jessica, who, together with our warehouse and logistics team and employees on construction sites, checks incoming and outgoing goods and compares them with delivery notes.

Your qualification

First and foremost, we are looking for people who want to accompany and support us on an exciting journey into the future. Whether you have completed a bachelor's degree in economics with your drive and interest in figures or have a lot of professional experience in a comparable job and commercial education, we depend on a complete human package. Of course, relevant continuing education and training in the area of (financial) accounting would be helpful.
