National Park Gate Celtic Park

In a Europe-wide architectural competition, our client, DBCO GmbH from Münster, prevailed against around 80 applicants. We had the privilege of accompanying the winning design as local property monitoring. The combination of glass, wood and concrete as well as the curved elements also made this project particularly demanding in terms of craftsmanship.

Project details

As part of the property monitoring, we ensured the quality and timely execution of all construction work. That was particularly important here because of funding with EU funds. From checking abandoned soil mass to drying a building that only got windows after a seven-fold call for tenders. The construction phase was full of challenges such as corona, supply bottlenecks, steel shortages and the effects of the Ukraine war. Nevertheless, the construction site never stood still in the years 2021 to 2023.

Focus on sustainability:

The Celtic Park Gate is located right on the edge of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, the Champions League of nature reserves. It is not only an architectural highlight, but also a role model for sustainable construction. Through innovative solutions and environmentally friendly practices, we have helped to create a building that is in harmony with nature while offering visitors a unique experience.
